Technically specified to the very highest standards – a grid capacity of 100t and a clear floor area of 35x25m – The Backstage Centre is the perfect place to rehearse anything from large-scale operas and concerts to automation and flying.
The roof incorporates three types of grid in one: tension-wire, gantry and a traditional theatre grid (with travelling beams that run the full length of the building) so you’ve got facilities to match any theatre in the world. Add to this a 1000kVa power availability, and you’ve got an environment that’s both flexible and professional.

Other supporting spaces include a dance studio with sprung floor, mirrors and ballet barres, a technical workshop, and production offices – so you’ll find plenty of room to set up everything you need for your production.
